Spanish Mackerel, Redfish, Flounder, Speckled Trout
Flounder season came and went, and we caught ton of keeper flounder in the very short time period we had this year. We were able to help our clients get on plenty of keeper flounder and put a few in our freezer as well.
Now that flounder season is over were gearing up for October charter fishing. Reel Teal Charters is currently catching a variety of fish, over several different methods.
While trolling we are catching a good number of Spanish Mackerel with Bluefish and the occasional King in the mix. We often see schools of Bonito and False Albacore and are able to sight cast to them with decent success. Finally on the inshore side of things, Redfish are still hitting pretty hard on live baits, with Speckled Trout slowly starting to show up as well.
The month of October is gearing up to be another beautiful month of fishing here on the North Carolina Coast.
